About the Project

The “House of Hope” is a new project being executed by the NOW Generation and focuses on assisting young adults who are transitioning from the foster care system after turning 18 years of age to independent living. The House of Hope will provide them with a temporary space (Monday-Saturday 9am-5pm) to interact while receiving training and workshops in vital areas necessary to survive in today’s world.

The grant will be used to cover the costs of setting up the House of Hope and operational costs such as rent, utilities, counselors and facilitators

About the Organization

The NOW Generation was formally registered in October 2021, although it has been actively operating since 2013. The foundation's primary mission is to orchestrate activities and events aimed at enhancing the well-being of the youth in St. Maarten. This is accomplished through a combination of mentoring, counseling, coaching sessions, and various engaging activities.
