The swimming pool suffered a lot of damage during hurricane Irma and the facility was closed for almost a year. To reopen the facility many quick fixes were done but necessary maintenance and replacements were push forward. In this project the pumping and filtration system will be replaced with an energy efficient system. In addition, solar LED lights will be installed on the perimeter and parking lot to enhance security. This will lead to costs savings which will be reinvested in the facilities.
For over 20 years Carib Swim Team has been operating a non-profit swimming pool facility to promote and organize swimming on the island. The facility provides the opportunity for many local kids (and adults) to learn to swim or to participate in competitive swimming. The facility is accessible to both members and non-members
