About the Project

Since hurricane Irma, Philipsburg has become somewhat a 'ghost town'. Many store-fronts are still damaged, and due to the lack of tourism (worsened under COVID-19), stores have been struggling to stay open. This project aims to uplift the situation in town by adding bright colors to otherwise dilapidated walls, celebrating our local art and artists, and adding a new ‘to do’ activity in Philipsburg, the ‘art-walk’.


About the Organization

BTC Foundation is a community organization that aims to 'make a positive change' in the community through a variety of projects which help strengthening other CSOs, provide opportunities for youth, and help beautify the island. BTC Foundation also serves as a social map to various CSOs that are in need of financial assistance and volunteers. ‘Be The Change you wish to see’ is their slogan.
